photographing homes, interiors and architecture, and people

Once a project is finished, the photographs are what represent it when it’s shared, published, and remembered.

I’m a Devon-based photographer specialising in architectural and interior photography for architects, interior designers, and owners of distinctive homes and holiday properties across the South West.

I photograph homes, workspaces, studios, and holiday properties with care and attention to how they are actually used. Spaces with a clear point of view. Places that feel lived in rather than staged.

Most projects benefit from time. Time to watch the light change. Time to understand how rooms connect. Time to let a place settle before photographing it.

I work methodically and with respect for the people who live or work there. The aim is to show what you’ve created, clearly and honestly.

what to expect: architectural and interior photography

Before the shoot
We talk through the brief, how the images will be used, and what matters most. For architects and designers, this might be award submissions, editorial features, or long-term portfolio use. I can advise on preparation, timing, and what to focus on.

On the day
I work steadily and without rushing. There’s no fixed number of images. I photograph until the job feels complete, allowing time for light and balance across the space.

Afterwards
This is where the work is refined. Selection, colour correction, and retouching where needed. The aim is a set of images that hold up over time, whether for press, websites, or marketing.

why work with me

My background is in documentary photography, and that still guides how I work.

— For architects, that means clear, accurate photographs that respect the design.
— For interior designers, it’s about balance, materials, and how everything sits together.
— For homes, hotels, and hospitality spaces, it’s about showing what it feels like to be there.

I pay attention to light, composition, proportion, and how a space is used. Sometimes people help tell that story. Sometimes they don’t. I’ll guide you with that.
