photographing homes, interiors and architecture, and people

Once a project is finished, the photographs are what represent it when it is shared, published and remembered.

I specialise in architectural and interior photography in Devon and across the South West, working with architects, interior designers and owners of distinctive homes and holiday properties.

I photograph homes, workspaces, studios, and holiday properties with care and attention to how they are actually used. Spaces with a clear point of view. Places that feel lived in rather than staged.

Most projects benefit from time. Time to watch the light change. Time to understand how rooms connect. Time to let a place settle before photographing it.

I work methodically and with respect for the people who live or work there. The aim is to show what you’ve created, clearly and honestly.

what to expect: architectural and interior photography

Before the shoot

We talk through the brief, how the images will be used, and what matters most. For architects and designers, this might be award submissions, editorial features, or long-term portfolio use. I can advise on preparation, timing, and focus.

On the day

I work steadily and without rushing. There’s no fixed number of images. I photograph until the job feels complete, allowing time for light and balance across the space.

Afterwards

This is where the work is refined. Selection, colour correction, and retouching where needed. The aim is a set of images that hold up over time, whether for press, websites, or marketing.

pricing

Prices start at £225 for shorter shoots of up to two hours. Half-day coverage of up to four hours is £375, a full day of up to eight hours is £550, and an extended day of up to ten hours is £650.

Every project includes:

  • Pre-shoot consultation to understand your brief, priorities and intended use of the photographs.
  • Photography with considered composition, controlled lighting and attention to perspective, materials and detail.
  • Individual image editing, including colour correction, tonal adjustments and retouching for a natural, consistent finish.
  • Full-resolution and web-sized photographs delivered through a private online gallery for easy viewing, downloading and sharing.

Tell me a little about your project, and I’ll help you plan the shoot and advise you on how much time you’ll need.

licensing and storage

You’re free to use the images across your website, marketing materials, editorial content, and property listings. They aren’t for resale or redistribution.

I archive all work for five years. After the first year, retrieval carries a £25 admin fee.

why work with me

Having worked in photography, property and hospitality, I understand how much thought goes into a building or interior, and how important the photographs become once the work is complete.

I take time to understand what matters about each project. That may be the architecture and its setting, the materials and details of an interior, or the character of a home or hotel. I photograph the wider views as well as the smaller details that make the space individual.

Beforehand, we’ll talk through how the images will be used and anything you particularly want included. If people would add scale or show how the space works, we can include them naturally.

If you have a project in mind, I’d be pleased to hear about it.
