I am a UK-based architectural interior photographer based in Devon. I specialise in capturing the unique ambience of both commercial and residential settings. My photography style also blends lifestyle and portraiture elements; a detailed composition, lighting, and styling process goes into every photograph I take. I approach the combination of these three distinct elements with great precision and care. The deliberate approach required in each area, such as commercial, architectural, and interior photography, allows me to immerse myself fully in the creative process.
Have you ever considered the stories spaces can tell through photography? My curiosity about life in diverse environments was inspired by my father and his love of photography. Growing up, our family moved frequently, and these early experiences overseas, captured by my father, shaped my perspective.
I studied art and design, earning a BA (Hons) in Photography from Nottingham Trent. I worked in medical photography initially and worked overseas for a short time. My career shifted towards property development and holiday home management, focusing on the photography of interiors, exteriors, and architecture.
My practice blends art and technical skills, creating images that convey a lifestyle through carefully arranged, welcoming scenes. I understand the frustration of subpar property photos and offer comprehensive services, engaging closely with clients to elevate their spaces. My work involves meticulous styling, thoughtful composition, and advanced post-production techniques.
In April 2024, I completed an MA in Photography with Distinction from Falmouth University. When I have spare time, I love to work on personal projects and practice
